Don't let history be the barrier to progress
What an awesome speech. There is no bigger thinker in the political areana than President Barack Obama. So great to see a leader truly stand up for justice, peace and equality for all. He started a "tribe" (see Seth Godin) when he decided to run for the Presidency, now he is taking his tribe beyond our beautiful shores and work with ALL our neighbors in this global village.
How proud does it make you feel to have a President with the ability to connect with people at every level?

I concur. Owning up to our past transgressions clears the table of BS that festers on and keeps us from reconciling differences.
We have have been an imperialist nation often holding other nations hostages.
