Hello, Hello
I joined this group a year ago and listened in to the call today for the first time. I'm so glad I did. I found it truly valuable. I loved how everyone genuinely shared (including Michael). What stuck out for me was how he spoke about spending minimal dollars on marketing and asking for referrals when you are a service based provider. Great advice!
Sincerely,
Ungenita

So my biggest take-away on today's call about "shipping" was in regards to putting yourself in a position that forces you to stay focused and get important things done. I learned that I can find a way to commit myself to things that will keep me accountable. For instance, if I think I'd like to be at an event that has been planned, I can let the host know that I will be there without question. Or if I have a project due at some undetermined time, I can let the recipient know EXACTLY when I'll have it done and that will make me go forward to completion in time to hit my deadline. Michael gave much better examples on the call, but this kind of hit me hard and I found myself thinking "why haven't I thought of taking actions to hold myself accountable? Brilliant"
