SHOP LOCAL!
I have founded a group called WOVEN - Women of Vision and Excellence Network, which spotlights the female entrepreneur. No fees, no obligations, just a "master-mind" grouping of amazing individuals. I think entrepreneaurs are AMAZING (and a little nuts!!)...they take vision, passion, an idea, some capital, and guts to improve their own lives and the lives of others.
Our "soap box" topic is SHOP LOCAL - we as individuals ARE the "bail out plan" for the Small Business Owner. We have choices with whom we shop, especially during the busy holiday season. Be each other's BIGGEST SUPPORT before being tempted by the "big guy's" 50% of sale!
My BIG thinking is that I, as an individual, combined with enough other individuals can launch a Small Business to its "next place" - through purchase, networking, and education.
