Why?

It continues to amaze me how just sharing can be such a positive force. I was recently asked "Why I do it? I can answer it 2 ways: First, is for my strong belief that we need to choose our life. Second, the joy when I know writing my blog "Beyond Lip Service" at http:www.livepassionatelysociety.com/blog and book... my life learnings can be of service to someone else. Sometimes with just a little glimpse into another way to look at something we all achieve a breakthrough. And your Why is?

Because I have known so many talented people who are (a) responding to e-mails at 2:00 a.m. (b) living a life of "shoulds" rather than from a place of passion (c) without the systems and strategies to provide them with the infrastucture to move forward (d) because I have also known so many amazing professional service providers who are unable to find clients and feeling frustrated - not to mention the fact that the world is not benefiting from their talents or a combination of the above. I want to help people move forward and transform their lives by partnering with them to help them achieve their dreams.

Thank you Sharon for providing this discussion. I am always so grateful that I've been able to do what I love, support my family from it and help others while doing it. To me, doing work that I love to do tops everything else. I really like what you have to say and look forward to learning and growing from these discussions.

I have always travelled to the beat of a different drummer and when I see the results of years of living as a clone
or as one of the pack as I often do, I am so gratefull that I had the intestinal fortitude to stand up for my life. My passion
now is helping others realize that there are choices in life and that the decision to change is the first step in living
a life that they had previously only imagined. I look forward to sharing thoughts with others in this group.

Thank you so much for your thoughts of the Why we do something. It is important to be Bold and to take action in life. It is so nice to know that others take action too. Too many fall into the trap of professional victim these days. What are some ways we can help each other grow and take action in 2009?
