Take Every Opportunity

A great way to develop your speaking skills it to, well...speak! Take every opportunity to speak. Simple things, like this coming Thanksgiving. Instead of saying a worn and rehearsed "Thank you Lord for these thy gifts...etc" make it memorable, make it meaningful, make it YOU! High schools and junior high school classes look for speakers for things like "career day", etc. Local clubs, chamber of commerce, and of course, Toastmasters are great venues. And with Toastmasters, you have a great way of getting feedback as well.
