Bill Burns commented on Michael Port's blog post The Donald Trump Pseudo-Big Way = Small Thinking
"Bravo Michael! As it turns out Mother Teresa was a big thinker. People like her think big in spirit. Trump, it seems like, does think small in a lot of ways."

Bill...A mastermind group is a group of like-minded people who can work with each other to achieve their goals. In my case, I belong to an incredible group with members who challenge each other to stretch and grow. This provides a framework of accountability and support. We help each other remove limits and boundaries, and challenge the limitations that we may have imposed upon ourselves without even realizing it.

To your success,

Cynthia

A BYS Certified Coach is an individual who is qualified by Michael Port to teach people the Book Yourself Solid marketing system. I know you've read the book several times. If you haven't read it yet, it's quite an experience. It will lead to:

B - Bill's
Y - Yearlong
S - Success

haha... nice to meet you my friend.

Hi - that sounds great that you are so clear on your style. With regards to the personal brand then what I do with my clients is still related to the things I talked about - so we do the work on values, strengths, goals, vision, personality and then we use that along with a good picture of your target audience - to craft your personal brand outline - thinking about the benefits you bring to them. If you're interested - feel free to drop me a line or give me a call. suz@suzannegough.com - 484 899 8070 - I am in Pennsylvania. Am still finalising my website so don't have that to refer you to.
Would love any thoughts on this. Suzanne

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the interest. What I mean by Authentic Leadership is finding a style of leadership that truly fits with you - your values, strengths and skills- rather than trying to copy that of someone else/or live up to some image of leadership we have. I do believe there are some core skills that leaders need and that there are types of styles (I like Goleman's classifications) - but I believe that once you get past that there are lots of possibilities to develop the leadership style that works for you and those in your team. I also believe that we focus too much on development needs and not enough on strengths.
I am currently creating a program to support this - using my background in Marketing and Coaching while I also develop my knowledge on leadership further. I have worked in large corporations as a leader of teams/departments myself and it's something I found invaluable when I was coached on my own style.
Hope this helps and really good to hear from you. Do you have any insight into this or any other comments? Maybe this is my revolution!!
