Profile Information

What do you want to think bigger about?
Helping people who want to make a positive difference perform better so that they can actually make the difference they want to make.
What other big thinkers do you find influential?
John Maxwell, Stephen M. R. Covey, Jim Loehr, Jesus Christ, Marcus Buckingham, Bill Hybels, Erwin McManus, Chip & Dan Heath, James Kouzes & Barry Posner, Daniel Pink, Daniel Goleman, David Allen
How has the The Think Big Manifesto influenced you?
The Think Big Manifesto originally attracted me simply because I’d interacted with Michael while taking his "Book Yourself Solid" course. Then my copy arrived.

On page 25 Michael says "... if you are reading this book ... you are already awake to the contagious, catalytic power of big thinking." The book has awakened me to notice people acting on big thoughts. They are out there, right in front of me, people I interact with. They might not have read the book yet, but they’re being revolutionaries. And there's something about real life examples that really helps me … maybe it’s my learning style.

The Think Big Manifesto has influenced me to begin collecting (actually writing down) examples of Thinking Big and Acting Big. I want to share them, because if they help me think and act bigger they’ll help others. That’s my contribution (as of 6-9-09) to the Think Big Revolution.

Since im commenting. This moderating every comment thing may not be the wisest thing to do because you cant be up 24/7. I figured out why I thought a previous post was lost when it was just awaiting delayed moderation. There will be a time soon where more and more communication will occur . It can be hard enough trying to get people to contribute, lets not make people wait hours for a post to appear.

Maybe you all are taking extra precaution because of certain behind the scenes threats right now, so I dont want to trip too much but If I dont voice my honest opinions then my opinions are moot and mute
peace,
Eddie.

ps 100% that I will put I the idea alluded to in earlier post

couple comments and observations.

I like the old view of each individual revolution. Even though there was only limited response on many, there was a feeling of activity that I think will create more posts once serious people find there way around here. Now it look super dead and uninviting.

The new look also feels like it takes away individual ownership and accountability to their started revolution. Revolutions appear as just concepts to click for more info rather than people taking action and developing said revolution.

ps my idea from last posts will be up sometime today 100%

Hey my man. Great to see someone step up. You know How I know this place is going to be monster. There are over 2000 members and even though the place was getting more commercial only content it has been peaceful and very content rich as far as I know. There is stuff on here that is free that other people charge for. So you know if you actually buy a Michael Port service that must be some realll goood sheeeeet!!!

I think having an effective moderater will add tremendous value to our community and expand BiGThinking. I will give you feedback on any user point of view that you require to promote the TBR.

You stepping up has encouraged me to finally post a big idea of exanding that is very cost effective and superpowerful way to promote TBR, probably 80 percent of our members could do and it be relevant to their own endeavors.

Lets see how many of those will commit to it. I will.Lets see if Michael wants to chime when he sees the concept. Write up about it soon, just wanted to be one of the first to say thanks.
