In business, leisure, pleasure, society, local community, family and on a personal level we need to understand and deal with the scope of freedom and responsibility gradually, but still more massively, supplied by the deconstruction of formal and informal tyrannies based on premodern social structures, which earlier told us what to do, what not to do, what is possible and even what is desirable. The first challenge for every individual is the struggle for freedom. An even bigger challenge is for us to manage this freedom and decide what to do with it, when traditions, formal and informal authorities and their institutions no longer can or should dictate all aspects of our lives. I honestly don’t really know what The Think Big Revolution is. But it seams very right to me, that it in the end is a very social thing based on intellectual and spiritual capital – necessary to domesticate our most primitive instincts – aiming at love, as a metaphor for mutual, emphatic, respectful, dedication and commitment among man-and-women-kind. It’s a Big Thinking call for creativity and courage. Small Thinking to often unveils as pure evil.
What other big thinkers do you find influential?
…all the thinkers, politicians, artists, activists and hippies fighting for human rights, freedom off speech and particularly women’s rights. The struggle for women’s rights, is the most important political, sociological and physiological battlefield for at better world since the first democratic movements started in the western world a couple of hundred years ago. Not just because of the moral aspect. But also because women's equal participation and contribution to society is a highly innovative factor for Bigger Thinking.
How has the The Think Big Manifesto influenced you?
