Thriving. And changing the face of work/life balance. Over the past several years, I have noticed how hard people are striving in their lives to be successful- in their careers and work, growing their businesses, in their families, in their relationships and with their children. I want to change people's actions from so much struggle to a place where people can thrive. I want to open the discussion about what it means to truly thrive. For me, it is a place where you are continually growing, where you are learning from others, where you take risks and make mistakes and where you sometimes need to recoup and rest so you can move on again. It is that space where you CHAMPION what you are great at as well as championing others in their greatness. When you are thriving, you come have a clear vision and you act from your values. You stop spinning plates and stop trying to balance everything in your life. Instead you are "in balance' in your life and in the center of your life so you are extending outwards towards others instead of in an inward reactive mode. What does thriving mean to you?
What other big thinkers do you find influential?
Michael Port, Dan Pink, Seth Godin, Michael Gerber, Ken Mc Arthur
How has the The Think Big Manifesto influenced you?
Helped me to recognize and call myself on it when I am thinking small. Inspired me to connect with others in order to Think Bigger and to reach out to support others in Thinking Bigger about whatever is important to them.
