Business Startup Skills

Hi Everyone,

I am really passionate about our business startups and the number that sadly fail, not due to the product or amazing service they offer but the real lack of business skills! I work with pre-startup, startup and infant businesses under two years of age to make a difference to this sector.

There are a huge number of amazingly talented skilled people out there that would love to start their own businesses or are scared to or simply dont have the…

What's going on in Education?

Hi all, this is my first post and I'm not sure how this all works.  I'm writing a series on my blog at the moment on "thinking out of the box" and this crosses over a lot with one of my passions which is education.  One of my latest posts is about revolutionising the education system - something which is waaaaay overdue.  I'd love your thoughts on how this might be done.... there are lots of people out there saying it needs to be done and some schools which are doing things differently - I'd… Continue

"Please, Help yourself."

I recently was doing work for a couple in Brooklyn and the lady of the house said “Tom, I know I usually bring ice water and lemonade but David and I will be out of the house today so it’s in the fridge – you can just help yourself.”  They are a lovely couple and it was completely consistent with their personalities but it got me wondering of the…

Increase Your Field Of Energy

When you're engaged in a creative process, your energy puts out. In one of my previous blogs entitled What You Study Becomes you, I talked about using the success materials as TOOLS to enhance your own success mindset so you can put out more value.

You see, your brain works like a television broadcasting system. The more an idea a person, or concept repeats in your mind backed by belief and expectancy, the more your subconscious will attempt to manifest it. I…

New to the community so I wanted to share

I just started reading The Think Big Manifesto yesterday.  I am half way through and very excited and finding it quite enjoyable.  In an effort to ingratiate myself to the group I thought to share a recent posting I placed on FaceBook that is clearly in line with my "manifesto" of assisting in creating a society that cares and is energized not just stares and is anesthetized.

I suppose I can introduce the aforementioned post by stating if you plan to think big, it is probably…

Where Does Value Come From?

Your value may not be appreciated all the time, but you keep delivering it anyway. When you're focusing on the money your business or your websites paying you, or the money your job is paying you, you're working for money. When you're focusing on the value you're delivering, your money(value) is working for you because your energy is putting out. What you put out comes back. Sometimes it  feels like you're not getting paid when you're generating your value because most likely it's…

BEEing the Impossible

After a whirlwind of moving furniture and creating space in my new office, I finally found time to sit and relax. There are eight spaces where I could have chosen to sit, and the place I picked was my comfy couch.

As I looked down before taking my seat, I noticed a bumblebee on the floor. Because I believe there are synchronicities in even the smallest of occurrences, I took this as a message from the Universe.

     I…
