The Think Big Revolution

This Thinking Big Thing Could Be Scary…

Scary? Why? Because the small thinking powers-that-be do not want us to think big—and they definitely do not want us to act on our big thoughts. They want us to be tame and predictable, hooked up to the IV of television and shopping, living in our comfortable-life comas. Life is so much easier that way. The citizens (that means us) are tame. The corporations and politicians do what they want. The few can control the many. Is that what you want?

Of course not. Besides, if you’re here you are already awake to the contagious, catalytic power of big thinking. You are ready to look inward and outward, to think bigger about who you are and what you offer the world.

I, for one, have pledged to fight consciously every day against the small thoughts that threaten to derail my plans, my aspirations, and my dreams. Sure, I still have them. I’m just like you and you are like me. We are in this thinking big business as a team.

Will you pledge to fight consciously every day against the small thoughts that threaten to derail our plans, our aspirations, and our dreams? If so say so below.

Make your pledge...

I, Corrie Ann Gray, do hereby pledge to consciously fight, supress and squish, any thought that deviates from thinking big. I also pledge to offer a hand, a shoulder, a tissue and a hug to those who find it difficult to fight on their own. Together, we will conquer the realm of small thinking and take this journey through life with big thoughts, big dreams and big success. Here! Here!

I pledge to finish the BIG IDEAS rolling around my head and scribbled in my journals to the end. "The Machine" may not like 'em - but that's too freakin' bad! Critical mass is happening ;) People are tired of living in THE GRAY of life. Done w/ drugged and numb. There is a valid reason people feel like crap all the time, if they want to know why I will be here!

I also have a BIG vision that will help me grow my business and take action OUTSIDE THE BOX where others want to keep me tamed...After all, Michael, you said this in your post: "I, for one, have pledged to fight consciously every day against the small thoughts that threaten to derail my plans, my aspirations, and my dreams. Sure, I still have them. I’m just like you and you are like me. We are in this thinking big business as a team."
Ok...
Well, Michael, after you had agreed to do an interview for John J. and Duct Tape Marketing, you had rejected a polite request for an interview for my podcast series (over 85 episodes in its 3rd year) called "THE STRUGGLING ENTREPRENEUR" at http://www.strugglingentrepreneur.com.
Now, it appears to me that you are saying one thing, encouraging us to act and NOT to accept "small thoughts that derail my plans"--but you are DOING the opposite. Transparent? There's confusion.
I myself have a practice from an old mentor that I give a FREE interview or FREE consultation first to create the relationship and share in trust with the potential prospect or client or partner.
How come you will not do the same and agree to a 20-minute phone or Skype interview with me for this podcast series (which, by the way, is FREE to all and on iTunes)?
This does not seem to follow the precepts you promote of thinking BIG--rather, you seem to be limiting me by accepting an interview from one podcast series, but rejecting my request as a podcaster that will help other aspiring or newbie entrepreneurs.
Now, are YOU helping me and others to THINK BIG, or are you saying one thing and doing another? (this, in my opinion, appears to be more along the lines of THINKING and DOING SMALL...).
I would appreciate and anticipate Your reply. Thank you.

I have a firm belief that we can only go as fast as the slowest part of us will allow us to go. My strategy is to befriend the slow part, enchant her, persuade her and enlist her in something larger than her own self interest. It usually works. Once she's on board, then I can say with full certainty that I pledge to think BIG, dream BIG and attract BIG!

I will reduce the impulses, end judgment, and be more present ... live the oughts versus the shoulds!

Fight small thoughts and the idea that someone will come along and do something for you, especially for free.

I pledge that I am continuing to consciously push away that little voice when it comes up. My dreams are too important to me to let them be derailed. I'm with you all the way. Love and Joy. Hazel. www.sayyestoyoucoaching.com

Hi Michael - Darn Right and our Government in Canada is as nutty as yours in the USA. Today after paying a lot of taxes they wasted tax payers money by billing me $3.09. Typical Gov't waste that we pay for. As for T.V. I doubt I've watched 10 hours in the last 5 years! Pablum for the masses. If we had good Government it would be a different matter but we also have multiple levels tripping over themselves. In Ontario alone (not counting Federal or Municipal) we have about 70,000 civil servants and 8,695 earn $100,000 or more each. Do the Math it's frightening. The USA has the same problem X 10! We are simply over-governed and over-taxed.
Keep up the momentum / Alan Bland
