What does it mean to be normal? Normal is a false set of socio-economic standards that exists in an ideal but not in a tangible sense. No one can be perfect, nor can any collective. Normal is not perfection, nor is perfection normal, so that suggests that simply being imperfect makes you normal. Normal is a sense that self is more comprehensive than the subject. Normal by definition is an action enacted by the majority to exclude those who choose not to accept the predetermined acceptable set of actions and responses. It is impossible to have normal without having something that is not. Therefore, would not the most normal be someone who is in the majority? To me that implies the most normal person is one who is extremely unintelligent, overweight, cynical, ignorant, materialistic, depressed, and selfish. The weirdest ones being genius, fit, generous, humble, uplifting, selfless, caring, optimistic, and happy. So which would you rather be?Do you need a label to tell you what you are? Are these not just overgeneralized representations of reality? Is it better to be normal, or different. What is the point in figuring this out anyway?
Everyone lives in this false sense of reality in which they “trick” everyone else into believing they are the opposite of what they truly are. What makes things real? If something that is not a trashcan is used as a trashcan, what is it? To a particular observer the subject is and always was a trash can. To the un-typical observer it never was nor will become a trash can. More so, once this observer stops observing, has said object lost its information of the capacity to become a trash can? Of course not. If someone is told a lie which they take to be true, in their personal reality this truth is fact. You see what you want to see.
Is silence a sound that prevails? Is transparent a color? We assume that the absence of something is just that, the absence of something. Is cold the absence of heat? Dark the absence of light? Black the absence of color? Death is the absence of life?
I don’t think we should think of things like this. Black is a color. Clear is a color. Cold is a temperature. Is dark still light? Could it be that dark is more infinite and powerful than light, for it always seems to prevail in the end. As is cold. As is death. We appreciate the rarities of life, but only the ones we want to happen. We need to celebrate the bad for existing so we may appreciate the good. There can be no good without bad. Without it, we all are nothing. The fact is that we have the choice. Wisdom is knowing what you could do, but doing the right thing anyway. Especially if you know your going to get away with it. Knowingly taking advantage of someone through thought or strength is not equal. Using strength is based on misunderstanding, while thought is based on understanding. Still, yet, both have missed the point entirely. The strong should help those who are weak, and the smart should help those who can’t, understand. There are many types of intelligence. There are those who are smart in the memorization of detail. There are those who are gifted orators, excelling in communication. Some have the gift of understanding, whether it be mechanical or conceptual. All have the gift of creativity, but this is limited and locally specialized due to restrictions of medians of expression. Empathy is a gift and a curse, for you truly know how bad you hurt people. Wisdom is the ability to apply all said intelligences into a single cohesive force. Our different intelligences come from many into one, as the minds of the world come together as one.
